A selection of photos I took during one year with Lindenblatt – always balancing between staged, set-like food
and beverage photography and moody shots captured live on location during busy weekend rushes.
This diverse work environment was not only entertaining but also challenging. Working across two different restaurant
concepts (Lokal 4 and 800 Grad) definitely resulted in two distinct visual languages. Yet, the entire imagery is tied
together by a cohesive look and feel that aligns with the head brand Lindenblatt, making it a fundamental piece
of the overall visual communication concept.
Entering the 800 Grad, images really transformed into a more "delicate" way of capturing a restaurant,
focussing on the enormous quality of products and the outstanding service. Besides this top-notch claim
the photography still needed to be somehow down to earth and connected to the essential craftmanship
that comes with processing meat on this level.
Shot between May 2021 - May 2022 in Hanover as inhouse creative
for the gastronomy
Lindenblatt in two of their restaurants.
